Trainings

NMRC offers training and continuing education units to professionals in the recycling and diversion fields. We partner with the New Mexico Environment Department: Solid Waste Bureau to host recycling and compost facility operator certification courses, and our biennial recycling professionals conference is hosted jointly with our partner, the NM Solid Waste Association of North America Roadrunner Chapter.

The dates for the 2025 certification courses and 2025 conference have been set and registration is now open! 

 

NM Recycling & Solid Waste Conference

Save the date!  The 2025 New Mexico Recycling and Solid Waste Conference will take place in Santa Fe on September 30th through October 1st, with tours on October 2nd.  The two-day conference will offer keynote speakers, breakout sessions, roundtable discussions and attendees can earn 16 CEUs towards recertification as a recycling, compost, transfer station or landfill facility operator, The optional day of tours on October 2nd, will provide an additional 8 CEUs to reach a total of 24 CEUs available.  Registration is now open and call for abstracts and more details will come soon!  To learn about sponsor or exhibitor opportunities, please click HERE.
